I'm a single mother who is looking to meet some new friends. I am interested in finding someone who can express themselves through email and texts. I'm looking for someone to connect with before adding the pressures of meeting and dating. I spend my time divided between work and my kids. I am not in to the bar and party scene, so I haven't been too successful at meeting new people since I have re-entered the dating world...much different than it used to be...I am a very simple woman and try to leave the drama to others. I have a great relationship with my family. I love helping others, and try to teach the same to my kids. I am a good listener, or so I have been told, honest, and sincere. I treat others the way I wish to be treated, and try to benefit at least one person each day.

It has been a long time since I have been on a date, but I think that the first date should be something that is light hearted and fun. Something like bowling, putt-putt, or going to the movies. I think getting to know someone prior to the first date is a good way to start, to know that you will be able to converse with that person during the date. I do know that there is an element of chemistry involved, but I also believe that what is on the inside is far more precious and important than the outer package.
