I LOVE to laugh! Sense of humor is a must! I'm 54 years old and am recreating my life.

I was a wife for 21 years, mother of 3. The kids have grown up and my ex has moved on. It's now about me!! WOW! That's different! I'm rediscovering what I like to do! My kids are still an important part of my life, but they are all on their own, doing well! A beautiful grandson has been an added bundle of joy to my family! Being a "grammy" is an amazing experience! Except...well.. I'm too YOUNG to be a grandma!!

Interests: So now what?? I have discovered that I love to write, specifically poetry. There is a freedom in expressing through poetry. Creativity has become an important part of who I am.

Music is another profound form of expression. I play the guitar and sing a little. It's great therapy! And, I CAN sing on key! The dog has not howled as of yet! Of course I don't have one anymore. The dog, that is.


Other Interests: I have many varied interests. I love to travel to the beach, to the mountains to take in the beauty that surrounds us all, to going to Disneyland to watch the parades! My interest in Disneyland stems from my daughter working there for nine years. She is a dancer as well as a character actor. She traveled to Japan and worked at Tokyo Disneyland for seven months, and performed as Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Arial and Jasmine. I was able to get past my intense fear of flying to visit her. It was incredible! The country, the people, the culture..and of course seeing MY daughter fulfilling HER dream!

Profession: I love my job! I'm a special assistant/clerk of the board. It's important to love your job! We spend so much time there! As part of my job, I write. Great "training" on my road to what may be my purpose in life... a writer. We'll see. In the meantime, I'm growing and learning from my job. What more could you ask for.

The type of person I would like to meet: Humm... well.. the person must have a great sense of humor. A good relationship is 2 people who want to enjoy life together without taking away from each others individuality. I am a spiritual person and open minded, while keeping myself grounded! I love to learn! Isn't that why we are all here? And.. to have FUN!!

First date? Spending an evening together where we could talk; a quiet restaurant. My purpose of being here is to create quality friendships. If something more happens, it happens. No pressure, no demands, no expectations.
