About me I spend time; teaching scuba diving which I started teaching in 1981, writing my two books, one on becoming a scuba instructor the other a novel…yes about a scuba instructor, remodeling my house; rewiring, building, painting, installing things…always another project around the corner. I like; cooking so I try, emphasis try, to cook a new recipe at least once a week, try them out on friends or maybe you, working in the yard, being outdoors, exercising, I have a set of golf clubs…does make me a golfer, going out to dinner with friends, getting back into snow skiing and camping, you will have to ask for the rest. I volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, two of the pictures, on the Sierra Adoption Service fund-raiser committee, and took care of my parents for 8 years. I’m very energetic and driven but can kick back when it’s called for. I don’t look or act anywhere near my age, which plays into the kid in me. I like laughing at life, and myself, that is important; because it’s just too short…I know a cliche! I can sit and watch TV/movies, with you, or work in the yard all day long with you; I even like shopping…points. I like to know where I’m going and doing but I do step outside of my comfort zone. The latest was a minister for a day way out of my comfort zone, would do it again.

I’m a good listener…I believe that sorrows shared are halved and joys shared are doubled. I wonder how many connections are missed because one is afraid to venture out of ones comfort zone. Action talks, if you say you are going to do something or be somewhere and you do and are that says a lot about you…that is me.
Oh I know what colors go together so I can dress for any occasion…really; my belt even matches my shoes which are polished…this has to get me some more points.

Religion has a place in my life as it should in all of us whether it is shown or kept inside.
I’m looking for a woman that can be a friend first and she knows that a relationship TAKES TIME AND HAS THE TIME, then we can develop everything else that is involved in a great relationship. Because isn’t that what we are all here for…finding that someone. Are you; a woman that can laugh at herself and life, dress down and not worry about it, dress up for an occasion and have fun. Likes the outdoors and indoors, cooking together, movies, sitting together by the pool reading books listen to a waterfall with a glass of wine, affectionate, romantic, not afraid to show emotions because if you hide them you are losing out on life, a giver and taker. I like a little c o c k iness in a woman; she has to be because I have a little in me. Being able to communicate is very important in a relationship as is eye contact during a conversation. Honesty, trust, intimacy, and family, among others, are very important! I’m looking for a woman that can complement me and I her. I think relationships are part effort, some luck and respect for your partner and yourself.

I think that these profiles are ok but the test is meeting that someone in person to look into their eyes and see who they really are. I wonder if we met through friends would we have the same requirements about the other person that we input on this web site. I also wonder does ones profile take the mystic out of meeting that someone.

The pictures in the snow are in Sheridan, Wy, the suit pictures are my retirement party at Piatti’s and the wedding picture are both about three yrs old, dive class at Monterey and habitat are 1yr old…the oldest, about 6yrs, in the teal shirt.
