I feel that to understand something you should always start at a beginning.
This is what we have discovered so far in this endeavor:
In the first chapter we meet at age 3 in the sandbox. Where we learned to share and to create.
In the second at age 7 we learn to socialize, cooperate and to exercise our independence.
At age 12 we go to our first school dance, we held hands, we started feeling those changes that happen within us all. yes, we are growing up.
15 comes..And walking home from school together...matinées on Friday, popcorn, good&plenty's, and soda. Sitting the back rows under the balcony...She wears his class ring, He steals their first kiss..

The circus came to town today and we snuck in under the big top tent..elephants, horses, trapeze artists and clowns.
On the midway we held hands as we walked, there were games of skill, Cotton Candy, Karmel Korn, and Elephant Ears. The ferris wheel had 2 wheels and was 12 stories high. we stopped at the top, He held her , her face buried in his chest, swinging back and forth he lifted her chin and gave her a kiss which she returned. They didn't notice that they were moving until the carnies opened their lap bar.

We dated through high school. Football games, Home comings, Then Graduation.

With a handful of wild flowers and dressed in my Sunday best. I stand on your porch, getting up the courage to knock. It's time for the town festival dance. and I'm fresh back from boot camp.
What if she's already gone? Has someone else taken her? It sure is quiet, Ok here goes...Knock Knock knock......

So why can't we just do this all over again? It can't be that hard. We just have to meet at the Sandbox.....
