Alright, here we go again. When I started this profile the last time, I had been on Match.com for a while and hadn't met anyone, and I was discouraged and gave up on finding someone, so I didn't really put any effort into this profile when I did it.

I'm going to give this site a real chance and see what happens. Figuring out what to say is always difficult so I will just say a few things about myself, and if I sound like the kind of guy that interests you, email me and we can meet for coffee or something.

I'm 46 years old and have very little 'baggage'. No recent ex's and no children of my own, so I don't really have any past relationships or what comes along with them to deal with. I love kids as you can see from my pics. I have a busload of neices and nephews that I get to see all the time, and I love every one of them desperately. However, at this point of my life, I'd like to meet a woman who's children are of an age that allow you to have some freedom. My dating experience tells me that would be 13/14 or older. This has nothing to do with kids, it's all about me and you. I want us to be able to have a relationship on our terms. This doesn't mean I do not accept and get along with your kids because I absolutely will. I just want some freedom and privacy at this point, and that's difficult with a full time 8 year old and every other weekend for us! If you do have a teenager or 2 I would love to engage them in my life at the right time on your schedule. If you introduce me right away, that says something to me, and not a good thing.

I have a great career in sales/engineering in RTP and I live 10 minutes from where I work. I recently downsized from a home to a townhome in Morrisville, and I love it. It's just me and the boys. My boys Roscoe and Sammy are real important to me, like your children are to you. If you're not a dog lover, we probably won't mesh long term because I am a huge animal lover. I attend a Christian NonDenom church in Chapel Hill, and my faith is important to me also. I will never ask you to join me in this journey, but I would prefer you have love in your heart for people and a kind nature. Last word on this subject--I know plenty of wonderful people that have never stepped foot in a church, but they have a spiritual belief and that's cool with me.

I love sporting events (bigtime hockey fan), eating out and cooking for myself (I'm a decent cook), walking with my boys, going to church, helping people and animals, trying different things, and I have a wide taste in music. I am originally from Upstate NY and I do enjoy cold weather and cold weather sports.

I'm a short guy. I am 5'8" on a good day, and I am completely cool with that. However, I seem to feel most comfortable around ladies my height or shorter. I'm in pretty good shape for an old guy, was working out daily until I injured my rotater cup (shoulder) which will require surgery. I'm waiting until after the holidays. I don't count calories because I don't have to, but I watch what I eat and I have a healthy diet. I've been told that I am reasonably handsome, and that my eyes and my smile are my best physical attributes. I'd rather my height and my pecs were my best attributes, but I'll take what what I can get I guess.

I'm not 6'2", look like George Clooney, or make a million dollars a year, but what I am is this. I am a God loving, smart, hardworking, successful (blessed), reasonably attractive, happy with life man with ZERO baggage that has plenty to offer to the right lady.
