So if someone asked you what percentage of the general population is "datable", how would you respond? When Jerry asked Elaine on Seinfeld her answer was, "oh... about 20%". Jerry said no way, it's more like 7%. Elaine chuckled and asked him why he felt that way. His answer? "Elaine, have you been down to the DMV lately, it's a leper colony down there". Now I don't know about you but I tend to side with Jerry, dating can be a challenge in Seattle.

More about me... I'll begin by saying that despite my Clark Kent appearance and profession (fear not, the cape only comes out at Halloween and on really windy days), I live a full life and value each and every day. That doesn't mean I live every day like it's my last because odds are pretty good it's not and after all, I want something left to do next week. My best friends would tell you I'm a blend of brains, wit and southern charm, complete with accent. I enjoy the outdoors, the fine arts, classic rock, cooking and spectator sports. I'm willing to try just about anything (legal) once, as long as you're willing to do it with me--no double standards. I should also disclose that I am the very proud father of a twenty year old daughter that attends UW and she's part of the package, so if you can't deal with Husky fans and a dry sense of humor, well..... I'm not your man. I should also point out that unlike many Seattlites, I am not obsessed with being politically correct. I'm an independent thinker and tend to call a spade a spade. Some people find that trait refreshing, others don't, but it's the way this Scorpio is wired.

My ideal match? She's attractive... classy... well educated... very down to earth. She knows the meaning of passion and appreciates a thoughtful gentleman with a fun side and more importantly, a heart. She values intellect, trust, and honesty, and knows the power of long, slow, deep, soft kisses that last three days (extra credit if you've seen the movie). She has a hysterical sense of humor just as I do, and an internal smile, two things I'm finding surprisingly elusive in Seattle. She’s ambitious, financially secure and loves a challenge. Above all, she's emotionally available.
