About Me
It seems like most people on here just like to look at pictures, so I'm not so sure why I need to come up with 50 characters for this section. Anyone else feel this way? But, if you are actually taking the time to read this, I should probably try to come up with something relatively insightful for you. So, let's see, what can I tell you? I don't sell paper products, I've never been to Scranton nor have I ever owned a beet farm. One day, I'd like to hold the title of Assistant to the Regional Manager. I know that is a pretty big goal that only a top sales rep can hold, but none the less, I think I can get there one day. Especially, if I get really good at brown-nosing the boss ;) While I'm waiting for the day to arrive, I'll be focusing on enjoying life. I have an amazing friends and family network that I love being around and when they aren't keeping me busy, I'm usually looking for things to do in the area or new vacation destinations.
While it's definitely on my list of places to visit, I really can't complain about where I've been and what I've been able to experience. I have seen some pretty amazing things that I'll never be able to forget. Like running into the into the Rockets while visiting the Great Wall of China (by the way, you can't actually see it from space) or buying a Starbucks latte while taking in the Forbidden City a few days later. While the latte was good, there just seemed to be something wrong with buying a $4 latte that you can get on any street corner in Boston while walking around a ruined city that was built by the Ming Dynasty. Then there is always more traditional things like feeding the pigeons in the sinking cities Piazza San Marco, seeing priceless works of art that have been hidden for decades in the Hermitage or snorkeling at the world's largest coral reef ecosystem.
If I could just find a job that paid me to do all this, I would probably have the best tan on the planet. But, since I kinda like my current 9-5, I guess I'll have to keep that for career number two, because I'm thinking filling up my next passport will be a lot more fun is a if there is someone special to drag along with me.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're someone does enjoy getting first hand experience of different cultures, histories, and areas of the world and can really appreciate them, feel free to drop me a line, I love comparing notes and sharing stories. Who knows, perhaps after a few good glasses of wine a a couple of good stories we may just find that we're a good match...
