I grew up in a small town near Kansas City, but have called Columbia home since I came to school at Mizzou in 2002 for my second degree. I currently live alone and enjoy not having roommate drama. I am really close to my family and LOVE being an uncle to my nephew. I really value my friendships and feel blessed to have so many close friends. I consider myself a social person, but enjoy my down time too. I love sports - whether its playing tennis at the park or attending a Royals game. I also go to any Mizzou sporting event that I can. I like bike rides and walks (not much of a runner) in the spring and fall seasons. I love to travel and try to take several trips a year! If I'm able to find friends to go, annual ski trips are a must (so far my favorite is Breckenridge, CO). I also have a list of places I've always wanted to visit that I'm whittling away at - Seattle and San Diego were the most recent places that I've crossed off the list! I really enjoy movies (except scary ones) - whether it's going to the theatre or watching one at home with some kettle corn. I LOVE music and enjoy going to concerts, listening to my iPod or blaring it in my car with the sunroof open. I regularly attend church and try to live my life as best I can.
