Look, I've been around, intimacy isn't everything, I want a friend. Someone exciting, risk taking and vibrant. Don't you? If we develop feelings for each other then we'll deal with that when the time comes. A date isn't a marriage proposal its two people getting together to go out and have fun.

If feelings for each other do develop then I think its important to discuss a few considerations and expectations. I've had several experiences with dating as a parent and I think you'll see the sense in what I'm about to say.

It's going to take some time for us to get to know each other and things to get more serious. Until that time I'm not comfortable with involving the kids. They ask to many questions and complicate a relationship we are trying to cultivate between us. Let's work on us first and us and the kids once we have a solid foundation.

I don't have one night intentions. You may be the woman of my dreams or I the man of yours. But that's not a very realistic expectation after only a few dates. Chemistry is a great start if we have the desire to be with each other then we should as long as its mutual and we both realize its a long road to a stable committed relationship.

You would fly me to the Bahamas on a private jet for a gourmet dinner on your private yacht. Followed by a massage and some deep sea fishing. What this isn't fantasy land? I mean that would be ideal for me.
