A little about me. Well I've been on this site for a while without much success. But since I don't like to give up, I'm trying again.
To start, my name is phil. I'm a pretty laid back kinda guy, or I try to be. I like to think of myself as a southern guy even though I was born a little too close to the Mason Dixon for comfort. I am a volunteer firefighter and I hope to go career sometime in the not to distant future. Some of my hobbies include hiking and backpacking when I get the time, biking, swimming, and anything outdoors really. I'm always up for trying new things too.
My taste in music includes classic rock, southern rock, but my favorite is country and western swing. I can be open minded and listen to some other stuff too.
A few more things about me. I am pretty new to dating and all this relationship stuff. I've been on a few dates and that's about it. I am looking for a serious relationship though. I am willing to learn and put all I have into it. I was raised to be polite and honest. I don't believe that chivalry is dead. I believe in working hard and not in free handouts.
