Ok, new profile time.

1. I stand outside the dressing room at the shopping center and hold her purse while my lady tries on the 15th outfit real well.

2. I let her have the TV remote control every once and a while.

3. I let her be herself, as long as she lets me be myself- every once and a while.

4. I don't wait for her to say "I love you" before I say "I love you" Sometimes I say it first! (But... not on the first date!)

5. I buy flowers. Not half priced, wilted flowers. Not fake ones. Real ones. Sometimes.

5. I let her have the good chocolates, while I eat the yucky pink creme filled ones.

6. A first date isn't a Nascar race, a football game or a wrestling match. A first date is a chance to get to know one another. Its not about who's winning but about being in the game.

Talk. Boring, isn't it? But talking, getting to know one another is the key, I think, in any relationship or friendship. And its not about just getting to know ABOUT the person you are with. Its about getting to know the person. And, just as important, its about letting them know YOU. So, on the first date, talk. And eat, and drink and talk some more. I don't like to go on a first date to a place I've been before. I like to go somewhere new and different- a place we can discover together!
