This is the part I hate most. I am an open book when I'm sitting in front of you and have no problem telling all about myself, but when I have to try and put it on here, it makes it a lot harder. But, here we go.

First and foremost, I LOVE to laugh. Please make me laugh. There is nothing better than good laughter. However, I understand there is a time and place for that, and then there is a time for seriousness.

I have a very close family and love spending time with them. I enjoy entertaining family and friends at my house for cookouts, holidays, birthdays, or whatever the special occasion may be at the time. I wouldn't trade those times for anything in the world.

I also have 3 kids that live with me. I love them with all of my heart of course. They always come first. Luckily they are getting older so I am finding it a little easier to be able to do some things for myself now. I am now trying to get out and try new things. I have spent my entire life tending to the needs and wants of others, so now I am having to learn about myself and things I enjoy all over again.

There are a few things about me that I do know for sure. I would like to be in a serious and committed relationship where we can make each other laugh every day. Someone who likes to hold hands when walking. Someone who wants me to sit next to them on the couch and snuggle and share a bowl of popcorn while watching a movie or our favorite tv show. I enjoy going out to the occasional dinner, but would much rather stay at home and cook a meal that I can share quality time with my family over. The little gestures that we do for each other like a text during the day, or a phone call to see how our day is going, or a little note left behind with a sweet personal message on it, mean more to me than anything money could buy.

The most important thing to me while in a relationship would be faithfulness. I have NEVER and would never be unfaithful in a relationship. I would expect the same thing from my partner. And of course honesty, trust and communication are very important. Without those things a relationship won't work.

While I love spending time with a special someone, I also know that individuality is very important. I don't have to spend every waking, possible minute with that special someone.

For a first date, I think it's important to go somewhere that you can sit comfortably, talk and get to know each other. Not a place that you have to yell and struggle to hear one another. Possibly sitting out on a patio area enjoying lunch at a decent restaurant.
