Who is this girl?

HOUSTON, TEXAS - Reports are surfacing about this woman of God in the Houston area. People claim she has a tender heart and is bold in the Lord, not afraid to tackle any task laid out before her. She has been seen in area churches counseling and praying with young and old alike, spotted witnessing in front of local convenience stores, caught helping families rebuilding their homes after hurricane Ike, and said to even be teaching in home-based small group Bible studies.

What makes her so special? We spoke with eyewitnesses, who state that this woman is powerless on her own, but walks in faith and the power of Jesus Christ. “Sure, she is tall and athletic in appearance, but seems more like the girl next door” stated one person who wished to remain anonymous. Another person said: “I saw her at the mall; she looked like anyone else, except for a radiant joyous presence. She was quick-witted, open and sincere, fun to talk with. We began to talk, and then we prayed together, she was so encouraging.”

This woman, known to some only as “Karen,” is reported to be single and looking for a godly man. “I hope she finds a man walking with the Lord…” one person said last week “…I could even see her as a minister’s wife.”

Where could she find such a man? Plenty of Fish, perhaps?

Just a quick-witted, Spirit-filled woman; open and sincere, fun, creative, and easy to talk to. Secure in myself, and my faith in God. I enjoy volunteering or fellowshipping with others at church and Bible Study. As a people person, you might catch me eating at a small town barbecue, strolling for bargains at an open-air market, street witnessing, walking the mall, counseling someone hurting, or taking in a Broadway show. I try to be upbeat and positive, but not the center of attention or the life of the party. I’m both a country values and big-city class girl, equally comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt or dressed for a formal night out on the town. I also love the outdoors; walking, hiking, backpacking, para-gliding, skiing, swimming, boating… and might be talked into fishing or horseback riding. You will have a seatmate watching football or basketball, however my favorite is baseball.

I’m not about material things, high society, or drama in life. Christ is the center of my life, and sorry, even my husband would come in second. I enjoy spending quality time with my mate and relish the closeness of touch. My marital values are biblical, and I look for someone that has the same. While I am happy loving others and being loved by those around me, I do miss having a special someone to hold and share intimate moments with.
