Hi everyone. I am trying out this site, just looking for new ways to meet new people and make some new friends along the way. I was born in England, but I have lived in Canada almost all of my life.

So, a few things to know about me.

• I am very easy going.
• I love design which is why I am a graphic designer.
• I appreciate the simple but important things in life that most people forget about.
• I don't believe in heaven or hell, and I feel living for all of eternity, no matter where you are would be awful and take away the from how precious things are. That being said, I believe that you only have one life, and one chance to take in all the incredible beauty and mystery around you, so you have to make the most of things and not take anything for granted.
• I think that empathy is the answer to almost every conflict, and the one and only thing that there cannot be too much of.
• I like having a nice quiet, cozy night in, just as much as I love going out. I think they are both important.
• I like appreciating and celebrating the little things of life, like the fact it is a Tuesday.
• I am a complete romantic at heart, and love doing things like sending flowers to a work place, or doing a surprise picnic for two.
• I believe that chivalry is not dead, just harder to find, but I am still a strong believer in it.
• I strongly feel that you need to work to live, not live to work.
• I am more of a listener than a talker. I like taking in information. When you listen, you may learn something new, but when you speak, you are reciting what you already know.
• I have a deep and passionate desire to learn as much as i can about everything and anything.
• One of the only things I can't tolerate is close-mindedness
• I try to spend a lot of time reading (it has been mostly non-fiction lately)
• I like listening to music (mostly rock, punk and alternative) and going to live shows.
• I don't like killing bugs, I would rather catch them and let them go outside, than kill them.
• I enjoy keeping active, and doing a variety of activities and sports. But more as a "just for fun" type thing, rather than something too organized and competitive.
• I love watching huge thunderstorms and how small they make me feel.
• Same goes for stargazing (always my number one reason for going to cottages and camping)
• I like travelling (even though I don't get to do it as often as I like)
• I love trying something new and doing things that scare me the most, cause often, they are the things that end up being the most fun and making the best stories.
• Whenever I am questioning doing something new, I refer to two things.

2. My favourite quote which is "It is better to regret something you did, than something you didn't do"

For a first date, I would do something casual like dinner or drinks, but put a little twist on it and cater it to whomever I am with. Something that would allow us to talk, and get to know each other, but still be unique and fun for both of us.
