I've checked "dating" since who knows what the future might bring. Nor have I any intentions of jumping a fence before peeking over the top. That way lies madness (or stupidity). Since I consider myself neither stupid nor insane; although my daughters and co-workers may disagree with that assessment (I swear the application said "Must be at least slightly crazed to work here."). I'll just stick with dating at the moment.

I fill my time with work, projects around the house, crafty/sewing projects and being a volunteer editor at an online site for (mostly) women. Anytime I have left over I use for reading, surfing (the web, not the waves), or watching the news, HGTV, TLC, PBS and the occasional CSI and Numb3rs episode.

I'm looking for a gentleman with a sense of humor (not slapstick or crude) who is well grounded, ethical, educated enough to carry on a simple conversation and not pretentious.

As to religion, I'm what one might term a "liberal" baptist. I believe in God's love, not His vengeance. Christ taught tolerance and love, not bigotry and hate.
