| | My passions in life are first and foremost centered around God, family, friends and relationships in general. Openness, honesty, integrity, character, morals, values, commitment and dedication, as well as clear communication are all very important ingredients to quality, lasting relationships. I do my best to create, build, nuture and maintain them in every setting, from work to social, but most critically, on the home front.
My hobbies include most sports from active participation, live attendance as well as watching. I passionately enjoy football, basketball and baseball.
I am enthusiastic about being in and exploring nature in all its awesome beauty, grandeur and splendor. Whether it is hiking, fishing, sightseeing or camping. We are so blessed here with being a short ride from so many types of terrain, from the mountains to the oceans, the forests to the desert, lakes, streams, waterfalls and so much more. Just being alive, grateful and appreciating it all is so incredible.
I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music from Classical through Romantic Ballads to Country, depending on the company, mood, circumstances and situation. This can be at a live event, a free concert, a club or at home. Even if it is playing in the bacground, dancing to it, it is still a pleasure. I have a fondness for music from the 50's-70's.
Movies in a theatre are a special treat and my preferences lean to sci-fi, comedy, action/adventure and sci-fi, though any well done movie is fun to watch.
Technology is another area of interest for me and has been a focus of most of my career. I've been fortunate to be able to combine an area of interest with work.
Home projects and gardening can be quite satisfying and rewarding, especially when done with family, to help transform a house into a special home.
When circumstances have allowed it, I love to travel. Whether it is locally, regionally, nationally or internationally, learning about the rest of the world, history, culture, art, etc. is all pure bliss.
Staying at home with someone special, cooking together, entertaining, having BBQ's, spending time with friends and family, or just the two of us can be happy, joyous and special times to be treasred.
I would ideally like to meet someone with a similar beliefs, interests, values and outlook on life as I have described here. Yet, variety is the spice of life and as in cooking, it can improve the result, making something good much better. Where friendship, compatibility, chemistry, commitment and dedication are present love can bloom and blossom into something truly wonderful |
