I am looking for a wonderful gentleman to be passionate about. For right now, I am most passionate about my family. It is so very important to me to be kind to others, and am so happy to find it in others. I love words and reading. Making my family and friends feel loved and special is of the utmost importance to me.

On an everyday level, I like reading mysteries and solving puzzles; even though I may not solve them, I find the solving to be the best part. I can be mesmerized by beautiful art and music. Watching live plays takes me away to another world. Art shows and festivals make me astounded about the creativity of people.

Kindness is the quality that is most important to me. Being kind is a big part of my true self, and I value it above all else in others. I'd like to add a very common preference most of us want...a gentle sense of humor. Oh, also...a smile that is reflected in your eyes.

I would like the gentleman to know he does not have to impress me with material things. For me, sharing daily life happenings is most important. Talking on a variety of subjects challenges my mind, and I love to learn. Yet, simple chat about everyday life is so satisfying. Some grand gestures to show love are alright, but simple tokens that can be given more often, are like little love booster shots.

I think a first date should follow a meeting, which is mainly for chatting. I am not very fancy, and a first date can be simple.
