My name is Melissa. I'm 23, and currently in the USAF. I'm originally from South Dakota. I've been in WA for about a year now, and I moved here from NJ. I took a little break from school after moving, and it's given me enough time to reconsider my degree choice - but not enough time to make a decision. It will remain medical, though.

Being from the Midwest, I'm a pretty down-to-earth girl. Unlike most people, I actually have morals. I like being girly, but I'm also not afraid to get dirty from time to time. I like outdoorsy things, but I'm also a fan of the city. I'm laid back, easily entertained, and easily amused. :)

I don't lie, and I don't cheat - and I'm not interested in guys who do.
I've come to find that it's easier to list what I DON'T want, rather than what I do. So, here goes:
- I don't like getting messages I can't decipher. If you don't understand the differences between 'your', 'you're', 'there', 'their', and 'they're', feel free to NOT message me. I'm also not five years old, so if you use 'dis' or 'dat', move on.
- I don't want guys who call me shorty, shawty, mommi, mami, whatever. I'm not YOUR mami.
- I don't want guys that think they're ghetto fabulous. So not attractive. Period.
- I don't want to be around someone who is unambitious and lazy. It's good to slow down every now and then, but not for your entire life.

I enjoy going out to new restaurants, especially on the water. Going to a movie, going for a walk, whatever. Anything relaxed and fun.
But the first date, to me, is pretty important. It's your first impression, and if you don't put any effort into it, well that kind of says a lot about you.
