I'd never knew whether online dating really works, but recently i`d learned my friend's sister met the love of her life online and is set to tie the knot this year. There are love stories on here after all.

To start off, let me tell a little bit bout myself.....I've been ready for commitment for some time now, but finding that special someone has been like a dog chasing its own tail. What defines me is honesty and loyalty. i believe in being there to support those you love through better or worse. If you care about someone (family or friends), you won't give up on them even when they disappoint you, as that may be when they need your support the most.

I'm a pretty down to earth and easy going guy. Nonetheless, i won't take crap from people. I'm pretty serious when it comes time to be serious, but can be a big goofy kid when it's just relaxing time. I laugh at pretty dumb things. Don't rely on me to tell a funny joke, cos i could never hold back a laugh.

I believe solid relationships start with a solid friendship base. I would ideally hope that my next serious relationship could develop with someone who would also be my buddy. It'll be nice if we could complement each other, and not solely there to complete each other.

Coffee date to start things off would make sense (i'm talking bout starbucks here, not tim hortons or coffee time) as a meet up location. If things go well, we'll grab a bite at a casual restaurant/bar/pub.

After dinner, i think it depends on the chemistry in the air. Hopefully it's still smooth sailing and no signs of dark clouds. More facetime together would be nice ...... ie mini-golf, go-kart, stroll along downtown yonge st., the beach or park (since it's summer time now), etc, etc, etc.

I believe if two people get along, it really doesn't matter what the activity is. It could be as simple as sitting on a bench at the beach/park chatting bout anything forever.
