I guess the best way to describe me is "old fashioned". I grew up in a rural area about 150 miles south of KC, moved up this way about 7 years ago when I seperated from my wife of 20 years. I'm still looking for that friend and soulmate to spend the rest of my life with. I'm not a cowboy because I don't have any cows, but I wear my boots and cowboy hat from time to time and get to ride a horse on occasion when I go down to visit my mom.

I say "yes ma'am", "thank you" and "please" and always enjoying opening a door or doing anything to make a lady comfortable. I have strong beliefs of respecting and in turn expect the same. When the relationship reaches that point, I am very affectionate, passionate and am not afraid of PDA.

I have a good sense of humor, love to joke, tease and smile. I've found in my older and wiser years that the sooner in the day you can enjoy a good laugh, the better the day is. I can take it as good as I dish it out and enjoy a goodhearted banter of teasing as long as it is bringing a smile or a chuckle to us both.

I enjoy doing about anything if the company is good. I like to go out for a beer and some good bar food from time to time, play some pool or just people watch. I really enjoy outdoor concerts and listen to a wide variety of music. Yes I obviously like country, it is my roots but so is classic rock, southern rock, metal, and have even been known to enjoy some R&B when the mood is right.

I enjoy cooking out on the grill, staying in and watching a movie. It's even better when shared and some cuddling like teenagers again is done on the couch under a comfy blanket ;)

Lastly, as you can see, I'm not at a lose of words very often but also am a good listener. I really enjoy getting to know someone and learning about their backgrounds and interests.

If the first date is the first meeting of eachother, I would want to be respectful to the lady's fears or concerns and pick a public place of her choice where we could have a drink or meal of her choice and chat, get to know one another.

If that went well, the romance could be around the corner. I love enjoying momments and making memories with someone I'm interested in. I am a romantic, sentimental and have a big heart, please don't break it, I've worked hard to get it repaired to give it to someone special.
