I am an easygoing, slim and caring female, who loves to find a way to make others smile and enjoy the simple moments in life. I like to keep in shape by running and lifting weights. In the past, I worked as a counselor/social service worker and now I am a Registered Nurse. I lived in New Orleans for 15 years, giving compassionate care to my hospital patients, before, during and after Hurricane Katrina. I took a travel nurse job in Austin, Texas 2 years ago, to get out of the Hurricane Zone and to rest and recover after working very hard to help my patients and friends heal during 1 and 1/2 years of the Katrina Aftermath. I liked the friendly people of Austin and it's greenbelt parks and Lake Travis so much, that I decided to stay and make Central Texas my permanent home. Now, I enjoy hiking in the local greenbelt areas, swimming in Lake Travis, taking day trips to the Hill Country, going out to see live music, checking out Barbeque joints and continuing my search for the best cheeseburger. I am looking for an intelligent man, with a good sense of humor, an honest, one-woman man, who is looking for his female companion.
