Say you all - Hope you are doing well... I just want you to know, I am currently working thru my anullment. My faith means a lot to me even though I struggle with it at times. I am looking for a friend to chat and visit - and maybe more if their is a connection. I say 'Friends'... It takes awhile for a relationship to build from not knowing one and being friends. Also, to say that even though I am 45 now, I do have all the time in the world to meet and get to know you. Not to sound bigheaded, but, I feel I am a rare find and feel that I am quite worth it. I have learned from my mistakes... may still make more, but will also learn from those.

Perhaps you feel that you don't have the time to build a friendship? Well, we can try that too. I'm just not going to jump up and say - lets get married. If I do contact you, there is a reason for it. I hope you feel you can contact me as well. I will contact you because I feel some sort of an attraction. It could be mental or spiritual attraction, from what you say in your profile to a physical attraction, in one that I find you physically attractive. An individual is like a diamond in that their makeup is not only CoverGirl or LipGloss (bad joke) several facets... It is their family of origin, their education, it is their life experiences, it is their faith, it is what they eat... You are indeed a rare gem, and I would like to experience the beauty of the gem and get to know each and every facet.

I tend to be a romantic... I don't mind opening the door for you, dining by candlelight, holding hands, or cuddling watching a movie by fire. I like giving massages. I feel a woman deserves to be treated well. It is best when it is reciprocated as well. I feel a partnership is a give and take, a communicative experience, a sharing and giving of oneself, it is learning to compromise, it is acceptance and acknowledgment of ones strengths and weaknesses. If you have read "The Five Love Languages" - I am a "Touch" and "Communicator".

If you are saying... gee, whats goin on, I didn't ask for an encyclopedia... Well, if you made it this far, I am sure you can make it a little bit longer as I feel I am letting you know what makes me who I am...

I truly enjoy sports. I play softball, golf, enjoy walking, and I will play others including Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Badmitton, Bocce. I have never snowskied nor waterskied(pretty bad if I am a Minnesotan and I have sisters in Steamboat). I enjoy playing card games, as mentionned above. I am a fairweathered fan when it comes to the hometown Twins or Vikings. I truly enjoy the Boston RedSox and watching my cousin play his SemiPro hockey. As far as football, probably the Packers as they know how to play in the cold. I feel the Vikings have become wimps playing inside. If I played in the cold, so can they. I also have many relatives in New England (Massachusetts), thus I am both a Twins and Red Sox fan... :-D

My home is my castle. I enjoy home life and enjoy going out every once in awhile. It may be dinner for the two of us - or partaking in a Church function (I am a member of the Knights of Columbus). I enjoy a bonfire in the spring and fall time when the air is crisp and the skies are a dark velvety black with specks of stars that twinkle and the wood cracks and pops with fireflies dancing.... I enjoy movies and music and would like to put together a nice home theatre entertainment system. I have quite a few movies of all different genre. Music is the same as far as different genres... just little to none rap, opera, or heavy metal.

I do like the theatre; be it high school, community, or the Guthrie. I enjoy radio drama and would like to get into Voice Over work. I was a radio announcer for a short time and truly enjoyed that experience. It just didn't pay the bills at the time.

I may be somewhat shallow if I ask that you be fit on the inside as well as out. I feel it shows that you care about yourself. Also, if you are Catholic, please do not be ashamed of it.. it is not a Christian - other option. You are or you aren't. I struggle with my faith; but it is a part of me and I love it dearly. No, I am not a bible beater. I am far from perfect and will be the first to admit it. I am a lector at St Rita's in Cottage Grove too.

I like to travel - New England, Colorado (Steamboat), Sedona, mostly wherever family is... I would like to take a few trips overseas to Australia, Norway, England, Rome, France, Switzerland, and Poland. To learn about my family of origin as well as take in pilgrimages. My family is important to me. I am the eldest of 7. I have 5 younger sisters and a brother. All whom I consider my best of best friends.

I do not have any children of my own. I have experienced the trials of teenagedom... it was quite a trip. I have several nieces and nephews one of whom is my Godchild. I have and will spoil this special one within their mother’s say-so.

I need to include as far as going out... I have done my partying in college, and no longer need to spend all hours out. My weekend is my time to recoup. Pending on where I live, I do not like a long commute to work, and thus, my weekend is the time I wish to be with my spouse most. I work in Hopkins... I am currently in living in White Bear. I am not one for dancing... I have two left feet. Family is important to me. I ask for respect - I sometimes have difficulty with sarcasm.

I continue to work on self; I do appreciate myself for whom I am. I feel I have a lot to offer the right individual. They will be treasured dearly as we compliment each other. I am still a Work In Progress as we all continually evolve. Once again, I admit I am not perfect, far from it too, but understanding where I came from and how I can try to improve myself is something I offer. I am looking forward to each day and looking to fulfilling each day. Today and everyday will be the best day of our lives.

First date - Skies the limit... ok - a reasonable sky [ I want some friends to talk or meet out with and play some board/card games - who knows - just let it happen]: I just wish to visit over a nice cup of coffee / tea / hot chocolate / soda / chocolate shake/malt / glass of wine. Sitting by a fire and watching the reflection of the flames dance and glow within your eyes... a twinkling of moonlight within them -- learning about each other and enjoying each others company. Or maybe a walk thru the park or around the lake. From here... que sera sera. Life is too short - lets enjoy it!
