I am a progressive thinking, content, energetic woman who is happy with her life but also open to the possibility of that synergy created when two individuals who share attraction and affection unite. I'd like to meet someone who loves to learn as much as I do, is kind, who understands there is much more to life than what meets the eye, and that the true heroes often go unnoticed. That children and animals instinctively know what is really important, and that we stand to learn a lot from them if we just pay attention. I must be able to trust his word as the bottom line.

Although I have three children, only one remains at home. She is 15 and needs me less than she used to (and usually, these days, it's more likely for a ride or cash!), so I have more time to focus on myself. It's kindof nice.

Circumstances would influence the plans, would they not? First dates can be anything we want them to be! A lunch date, a bike ride, a glass of wine, a leisurely dinner, a party for a five year old--I mean, is there a manual somewhere that gives us the parameters of first date planning? Have I missed this? I think we just need to relax and have fun.
