I'm not quite sure what to say in this description. In a nutshell, I'm a 34 year old single mother of a 14 year old boy. I am a Nurse and CPR instructor. I play rugby for a hobby and am blessed with some of the best friends in the world. I'm very down to earth, but constantly on the go. I haven't dated much in the last few years and am ready to take a chance again.

I have recently moved to a new career path and bought my first home. It's a fixer-upper and is consuming the majority of my time. Perhaps a date with me would include some landscaping or drywall hanging...Doesn't that sound sexy???? ;)

I love sports, especially rugby, hockey and Track and Field. I'm fairly adventurous and would love to have the opportunity to travel more. I'm very goal oriented, but I don't take life too seriously. I love, love, love to laugh at myself and be around intelligent people that make me laugh as well. For the record, I don't embarrass easily.

I haven't had much luck so far with the online dating thing, which I'm sure is partly my fault. I'm finding it extremely difficult to connect in any way with any one over a computer screen, therefore, not really wanting to meet in person. I guess that's the hurdle to get over.

I think a first date should be fairly quick and non-romantic (so there is no pressure). A cup of coffee or grabbin' a beer after work is where it's at for me. I'm pretty busy, but willing to make time if you are a funny, smart, athletic, career-minded (but not a slave to your job) kinda guy.
