I'm not the type who typically talks about myself, but I would say I am a quietly confident person who gets along best with laid-back people who have values, know how to have fun, and appreciate a bit of sarcasm. I tend to be a straight shooter, but with tact. In other words, I will make you laugh but I may also make you cry (well, you won't be bored!). I'm comfortable in my own skin and with spending time on my own, and appreciate people with a similar sense of independence. That said, I enjoy doing things with the people I care about and focusing my attention on them, rather than the other way around. I'm not big on religion, but the golden rule sounds about right to me. I take care to look my best but will not take longer to get ready than you. Guilty pleasures include dark chocolate, red wine and Page Six. Less guilty pleasures include reading, music (loud and with guitars please - except for heavy metal), a few TV shows (House, Lost, 30 Rock, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are favorites, as was The Wire), and exploring the city.

As for what I'm looking for, it would be the proverbial last piece of the puzzle. I am very happy with where I am in life but believe that the best things in life are shared with someone. Of course, I realize you can't rush these things. What would be the fun in that?
