I'd describe myself as contemplative, quirky, smart, thoughtful, and sometimes funny. I'm a fit member of the left-wing NPR-listening contingent who loves books and movies. I love to play tennis (but don't need any more partners, thanks). I also hike, bike, run, snowshoe, and ski a little when the weather is good. What else... I'll drive an extra 20 minutes to avoid being stuck in traffic for 5. I love to play with my nieces. I'm equally comfortable whether you're in jeans or a little back dress. I sing in the car, although it's a little spooky in that cold dark garage. I'm fascinated by quantum mechanics. I read with school children. I take their lunch money. And I make jokes like that one.

I'm partial to the fit, book-loving, politically progressive type who is curious about the world - someone more interested in learning something new than buying something new, who uses foul language at least once in a while, has a genuine laugh, can kid around and have stupid conversations, and likes to get out and enjoy what the world has to offer.

Monster truck rally, obviously. Just kidding! I don't think it matters much, it's awkward no matter what.
