I am a very dedicated person. I am a career fireman and i have two beautiful children from my previous marriage. The most important things in my life are my faith, My children, My family and my career. I have been given alot of blessings in my life and i hope to find someone that i can share it with. i may not find that perosn on here but it's definately worth a shot.

I guess the reason i got on POF is because i just haven't had any luck meeting any one any other way. I have met some people through friends and by going out and things like that but it never seems to work out. I am happy with where my life is now and i am lookng for genuinely good person that i can share it with. Through all the things i've been through and the relationships i've been in i have kinda figured out what i need in another person for a relationship to work. I know that i need someone that is outgoing. Someone that is easy for me to talk to. I am a christien so whoever i end up with needs to be a christian also. I need that person to share the same values that i have. That person must also love childern or atleast mine!! And of course there needs to be some common intrests. I don't let anyone i date around my kids untill i know things are serious and i feel like i can truely trust them. I like staying home and enjoying time with my kids but when they are not with me i also like to go out with friends or go to a concert or just have a few drinks and talk. I am not a big drinker i just have a few every now and then. And when i do go out i like for the person i am with to be able to go with me. I'm hoping that i can find the person that i can just talk to for hours on end with out even noticing how long we've been talking! Communication is a very important thing to me!

The first date is pretty important. it needs to be something very relaxed and layed back so that both people are as comfortable as possible. it needs to be something that will allow you to get to know one another. dinner is an easy choice but it's good to mix it up every now and then. Good conversation is a must for me so what ever we have to be able to talk and get to know each other.
