I am a widow of 2 years, who owns her own car,condo and white cat. I am no side salad for a married man or separated man that may go back to his wife, main entre' only, and maybe some dessert for the right single guy.

I am not your typical granny, somewhat of a home body. I am into reality and tend to be somewhat unique in the funky fashion sense, even to the angel fish tatoo on my ankle as I am an Angel and a Pisces.
Those photos were taken when I was 20 and 50, and 58, my hair is now graying and somewhat shorter and my body has expanded with gravity:-)
Must own a car, be honest, caring, clean, and live in close proximity. I like politics, world news, reading, crossword puzzles, crib, crafts, sewing and sharing my altruist attitude. I have travelled to many countries in the past and prefer my HOME and native land and the beauty of our mountains lakes and streams.
We all have our stories of sadness and pain, like the Queen bee that stung me while I was in bed is dead. I hate flies and stinging insects... Thus, I am not the camper type, as I am alergic to stinging insects and prefer a 'no fly zone' around my food. Don't put me on a beach unless there is a good book,a shady tree or umbrella as I almost drowned in Mexico.
I prefer the Arts,and Theatre to most sports but do enjoy watching my grandson play soccer and love Baseball and some Olympic sports. I down hill skied in my younger days,did the splits upon a hill and getting out of that was a miracle. Also,I hugged a few trees and fell off the lift once:-) I am a cathartic writer of humorous sorts and have won some $$$ from contests as well as writing Geneology poetically.
Motown music and some classics as well as Michael Buble, Josh Grobin and golden oldies are my favorites. I tried to learn the guitar, but the classical fret and 'G" string were to hard for my hands, so I sold my 'Martin' and I had carpel tunnel surgery. A soul mate starts with a single date and moves on from there.

How about Shawnessy YMCA/Library/coffee area, by 22X. Lets try to break the ice over the phone first and see if we can come up with some place more original. I go to Okotoks and Turner Valley on occasion to see my girls and grands, so maybe in that direction or close by.
