As a retired teacher, I have lots of time. I write gay stories for the internet, and have written a CD of gospel music, which I recorded with two friends. I'm kind of a couch potato; most of my exercise is walking my Shih Tzu.

I'm easy-going (AFTER my first cup of coffee!) and I love spending time with friends. I'm willing to share anything I have with people I love, including my time. I'm not good in crowds; I'd rather spend time with small groups of friends, or just with one special person. I've spent a lot of years alone, so I've got a lot of love stored up to give to that special one. Maybe you're the one.

If you're into music, I like a lot of different types, from classical to country. I'm not too thrilled with some of the modern, loud stuff that the kids like, but, since my kids are grown up and gone, that's not a problem.

I think first dates should be to get to know one another. We might go out for dinner and just talk--probably for hours! I'm a little tongue-tied when I first meet someone, but give me a little time and you can't shut me up! I want to know all about you, at least everything you want to tell me. If you want to know anything about me, just ask. I'll tell you. Maybe after dinner, we could go down to the park by the lake and just sit and talk.
