Hey Guys,

My name is Bryn ( pronounced as "brian"), and I am 29 year old professional. I work as a chef with the Canadian Forces in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am originally from Halifax. I grew up here though I moved away and from 2000 - 2003 lived in various cities in N.B., N.F. and O.N. I am of Irish, Welsh and French decent and fluent in French and English. Also, I have a very basic understanding of Spanish, German, and Irish Gaelic.


First and foremost, I love anything to do with food. I love cooking and baking, discovering/creating new recipes and sharing my passion for everything culinary.
Outside of that I really enjoy watching movies, I probably go to see one easily biweekly. I like being outside too, going for walks, taking in nature and just enjoying the beauty that is our planet.


I don't mind hitting up the bar with friends for a night out, and a drink or two never hurts! At home, I like to read, surf online, watch movies, knit and also scrap book. I enjoy being creative in various hobbies and pursuits. I believe it keeps the mind young and it's just plain fun!


When I am not busy with work or play time, I do like to volunteer. Currently, I am a CIC Officer for a local cadet corps in Halifax. Also, this summer I am looking to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Halifax on their build project. I enjoy giving back to community, and am always looking for new venues to accomplish this.

Currently, I reside in the North West end of Halifax with my two bunnies: Smudge and Jack. I am always up for chat and looking for new friends, and meet a nice guy to date who is long-term minded like myself.

hmm, a first date would be a fun activity where we could break the ice, get to know each other and not have too much pressure. I think an activity, i.e., rock climbing, clay cafe or a museum then dinner would be ideal!
