I am physically active (enjoy hiking in the mountains or on nature trails, swimming, working out, bicycling), love intellectual, philosophical discussions, and have been on a spiritual path for many years. I love to travel (spending time in the Rockies, in Seattle, and hanging in Florida for a while in the winter are fun) but haven't been out of the USA very much. Computers, performing with guitar and voice, and creating with words and images are some of my interests. Have enjoyed my involvement in community theater, but haven't done anything for about 12 years. I also like to listen to NPR programming.

I'm thankful for who I am and what I've experienced in my life here. I have been working on laughing more and finding the joy in my life. People who know me can attest to my kindness, honesty, gentleness, warmth and thoughtfulness. References provided on request. :-) I have learned (and am still working on applying this) that the more I share joy and appreciation, the more joy and appreciation others in my world will share with me and still others. I believe that we learn and remember who we are by being each others teachers and role models.

It doesn't matter as long as the location and the activities are mutually agreed upon, and you and I are at ease, at peace, honest and accepting with one another. Meeting to take a walk or for coffee or tea is fine. Some of my favorite shared activities are mentioned above. Others include dining in (my cooking or yours), dining out, live music, dancing, live theater, movies and/or watching videos, performing musically together, and quiet, meditative times.
