| | UDATE: I have been working in a new position for a while now, working in different real estate areas. I work a lot of hours, but getting better...I have seen profiles of some seemingly pretty cool people, but have very limited time to date....Anyone able to chat on the phone in the evening as a start?
I dont post pictures publicly, but can send some via POF if interested (or just curious) Some people require posted photos to make contact, but I prefer to send pictures in a more private manner..........I am sort of new to the internet dating, and not online very often.
"Serenity prayer" concepts are meaningful and interesting... sort of encapsulates the struggle of being human......
SHORT STOREY ? I am a hardworking, conscientious, fun, funny to most, passionate, kind, energetic professional, who has accomplished some goals, but have more to reach. I am sort of a joker ("likes to laugh".. tough to imagine the opposite ).... goofy at times, serious, thoughtful, somewhat intellectual, hoping to find romance again. Cooks, cleans, irons (if necessary) one of the "good ones" still single out here.
LONGER STOREY? I believe that the more I learn, the less I know. I have many interests, and am trying to fit it all into work and/or play. Medicine and biology, law, auto mechanics, real estate, sports, music, gardening... shooting squirrels with bee bee guns..... NO, JUST KIDDING..... . I am sort of spiritual, still learning and melding different philosophies.. . College athlete, now somewhat in shape, but not enough. I enjoy most sports, and still play some. I am appreciative of the many things mankind (or "people-kind")have developed, the beauty of nature, and the possible meaning in the lives we lead. I am a rebel with changing causes tempered by age and experience, though looking still for my windmills to tilt at. Philosophic, romantic, learning to be more pragmatic. Like to dance, bowl, shoot pool, golf, bike, swim and being near water, cultural "stuff",listen to and/or play music, I enjoy lots of activities and can teach and play most sports. Depends on what the gal would like... I would defer to her choices... I like to chat on the phone before we meet when (or if) we feel like we know eachother a bit. ...As far as an optimal first date in my imagination, the backdrop would be on an ocean beach where we meet by chance just strolling on the beach at the water's edge...We chat for a while, and then grab an early bite to eat at a beach side restaurant where we are close enough to the water to hear the waves. Sun setting. Colorful dusk sky, maybe add some pelicans flying low over head, at the palm tree line, traveling up and down the coastline. Maybe candle light, We finish dinner, and while walking away from the restaurant, we stop at at gift shop. We buy a lottery ticket minutes before the drawing, both of us paying 50 cents. We win a gazillion dollars, split the proceeds 50-50, and find that we have as much chemistry with eachother as we do money, and go from there. |
