At the risk of starting this introduction with a cliche, I honestly can't believe I'm doing this but my friends have been pushing me to take the plunge so here goes. Creating a profile about yourself is surprisingly difficult; kind of like some weird combination between a job interview and selling a used car, but I’ll give it my best.

I’m an active, physically fit, intelligent guy that loves to laugh and find the joy that comes from living life to it’s fullest, not simply stumbling along as a passenger. Having been separated for just over two years and recently divorced, I've been hesitant to be re-released into the wilds of the dating world but figure that I have to give it a go at some point. I have two wonderful boys that are the centre of my life and if that is an issue for anyone then I wish you all the best in your search for the right person. My career offers me the opportunity for travel during the summer months and I like to use this time to explore new destinations and experiences. I enjoy the outdoors, especially rock climbing and interior canoe tripping, soccer and pretty much anything that involves the sun, sand and water. I read a lot and love great cinema and music and am equally at ease sampling a good glass of wine or tipping a pint at the pub.

I’m hoping to find someone who will rekindle that good kind of nervous excitement in my life. I’m quite content on my own but feel that the truly great experiences in life are that way because they are shared with someone that is special to you. I’m looking for someone that is quick to smile and always ready to laugh out loud. Someone that is kind and passionate about life, at peace with who they are and fiercely loyal to their own beliefs and to those they care about. Someone that takes care of themselves but without narcissistic tendencies, true beauty comes from within and is something that cannot be lost. As it's sometimes hard to appear graceful with a mouth full of food, I think that getting to know each other over a coffee or a drink (I know, very unoriginal) followed by some sort of outdoor activity would be good. Anyplace that the ambient volume allows for conversation is a must.
