I enjoy life's gifts and recognize that little things can sometimes make huge differences. I'm a loyal friend and have no axes to grind. I marvel at the human spirit and the universal languages that aren't defined by politics. Being a father is one of my life's definitions, and I cherish the opportunities I'm blessed with. Not afraid to say no, and see the reward in respectful, creative beings dancing in our home. I love to kiss and bite them despite the difficulty as they've become wiser to my tricks, faster, and much harder to catch.

I've learned life can be like an amusement park whether I've been ready for it or not, and the lines for some of the best rides can seem pretty long. Having paid for all my lessons, I'm unafraid to remain seated in the front seat of the class, taking notes.

I appreciate genuine people who have confidence that supercedes an underdeveloped ego, and the teachers who've been gentle with their lessons.

Would like to plan life for the future with a woman who's at peace with who she is, independent, and unafraid to be herself. Honesty is always the best policy, and the meaning of fidelity should be a crystal clear concept. I'm not interested in being a name in a black book and have little patience for those who tend to wane toward a more manipulative managing style. My ideal love would enjoy a walk on the beach at dusk and feel the surprise of the surf's temperature on her ankles, giddy and humming at the same time. We'd be able to communicate by looks, and incredible comfort would be found in the humor of two like minds. Wealth found in the experiences we choose, peace finally manifesting destiny-- or something like that (still figuring it out).

Finding commonalities isn't as important as finding character. Courage is admirable, and faith in possibilities is a good feather in a cap to have. I've learned that beauty on the inside can't help but radiate to the outside, and I admire those who've invested in roots. I tend to gravitate toward stability, and don't have much time for unneeded drama or game-playing.

Am content behind the desk at my lemonade stand and not one to duck when being teased. Nickname giver- can't help it, it's automatic. Oh, and one should never mistake kindness for weakness (A. Collins). So, hopefully I'll see you in line for the roller coaster and maybe we can share a seat, or at least share a jibe in the line for popcorn.

Music is crucial to a healthy state of being in the present moment. Trying to buck the trend to always look ahead. This month’s soundtrack has been as eclectic as always with my IPOD readily accepting every new nugget it’s fed.

Photography is another vent- much to my monkeys’ dismay, but it’s my job as a Dad and digital technology has made the whole thing cheaper!

Like to play golf--not live for it (as there’s a big difference), toss footballs and frisbees, and have been known to roll up my sleeves and whack a few croquette balls when challenged too. Playing hard isn't always hiking fourteeners or auditioning for a Mountain Dew commercials, right?
