What you see, is what you get with me! I'm always smiling, laughing and having a great time. I'm the girl next door that your mother would love to meet. =) I make friends easy and have a gift at making people feel very comfortable when they are with me. I do like to party and have a good time (don't get me wrong) but I would prefer to hang out at a friend's house having bbq's or whatever, over going out to clubs and bars. I had my fill in college. lol I am a college graduate. I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Minor in Criminal Justice, and a Master's degree in Counseling.

Family and friends are the most important thing in my life. I absolutely love children and older adults. I work as a social worker/counselor for an adoption agency in CA. I love my job, it's very rewarding and humbling! I also work for a local police department as a Community Service Officer. This is also such a great job. There is never a dull moment!!!!!

What I'm looking for in a partner....

The ideal man for me would be someone who is very down to earth, easy going, and genuine. I'm not pretentious or self centered, I'm not a high maintenance girl, AT ALL. I do take good care of myself and like to look nice but I don't go overboard spending tons of money on material possessions.

I'm a very positive person who believes that if you want something bad enough, you make it work! Life and relationships are hard, but if you care enough about something or someone, you do everything you can to make yourself and that special someone, happy!

I'd just like to add...

My friends describe me as being a "girly" girl who is most comfortable hanging out with guys talking about sports. I enjoy doing "girly" things like shopping, going to lunch and to the spa, hanging with the girls chatting about whatever, but I also really enjoy watching and going to sporting events. I'm mostly into baseball, football, and hockey. But, I can sit down and watch sport center at any time.

I enjoy being active. Some of my favorite things to do are: golfing, skiing, swimming, running, hiking/backpacking, biking, boating, river rafting, and I love to walk in the mountains or on the beach. I do like to travel and whenever possible, I enjoy the occassional spontaneous weekend getaway with someone special.

Overall, I would consider myself to be a very fun, outgoing and sweet-natured person. I'm romantic and love to make the person I'm with feel good about themselves at all times! I'm not into criticizing or making them feel like they're not good enough. We're all different and we all bring special gifts to every relationship we're in.

I joined this site in hopes of finding a friend who could possibly down the road, turn into something more serious.
