My Self-Summary

Hello my name is Chris.

Travelling is in my blood, if I could have any job that ever existed, I would go back a few hundred years and be an explorer, but sinse the world has pretty much been mapped, I thought I'd make a job out of my second passion, and that is trying to make this world a little better, one step and one person at a time.
I'm vegetarian, for all the reasons you can think of. And just like every other view I hold, I don't push it on others.
I am strongly opinionated, but that doesn't mean my ears are closed to the oposition. Just means that I respect other peoples lifestyles and choices.
I am: Pro-Choice (not Pro-Death), I am Anti-War, Anti-Wal-Mart, Anti-Coke, Pro NDP, Pro Universal Health Care, Pro Diversity, and last but certainly not least, Feminist and proud of it. (I'm also Pro-Fro and wear it proudly) The things you own end up owning you, the less you own the better, anti-consumerism. I don't need things to be happy, just someone to come home too.
I am a big man, so if you don't like your humans with a few extra pounds, that's unfortunate, and I will say a little prayer for you come judgement day.


What I’m doing with my life

Getting my diploma for Social Service Worker, after that it gets a little hazy, it all depends how things go here in London. Ideally I would move to British Columbia and get a job there.

I’m really good at

Massaging, both guys and girls, it doesn't matter. Just another way of making people feel good.
I have a good sense of rythem and can keep a pretty decent beat if given a drum. Music is in my soul.
I am terrifyingly good at Monopoly, all thanks to the many hours me and my brother would spend playing that game for the Genesis. We played it so much we stole it from the game store (bully for them not selling it to us first)

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

My geeky Buddy Holly Glasses, I've always loved em and they suit me fine.
If I have my shirt off you will notice the tattoo's surrounding my upper torso.
What I want people to notice about me is that I am not a judgemental person and that I have a good head on my shoulders. I do make mistakes from time to time, but I learn from them and grow as a person. Also I am a very random person, and hyper, combine the two and you got adventure. Also the large afro type hair attracts the eye.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Life of Pi, Steel Beach, Neanderthal Paralax, Anything basically by John Varley or Robert Sawyer.

Movies: The Crow, Blindness, The Corpse Bride, Hancock, anything dealing with real world issues (documentaries), Science Fiction, Post-Apocalyptic movies, and also Zombie flicks. I am also into anime, Trigun, Outlaw Star, Slayers, Full Metal Alchemist, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, all kinds.

Music means alot to me, I listen to alot of different kinds of music but love it pretty much equally, I love HIM (got to meet them in person and saw them twice in concert, only time in my life where I freaked out), NIN, Bob Marley (Still deciding whether he's my number one or number two musician) Static-X, Bush-X, Dope, Rise Against, Rage Against the Machine, Testament, Richard Cheese, Weird Al, and I am always open to new music, I am not set in stone.

Food: I love Tofu, Pizza, Stif Fry's, Vietnamese, anything healthy and full of veggies.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What life has in store for me in the future. I spend alot of time not thinking, which means that I meditate, mentally clear out the junk. I also think about world issues and what I can do to help.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home enjoying whatever it is I am enjoying. If I got plans to go out then I am gone out, I am pretty much up for anything, new or old. I just love people and getting to know people. We can have fun in many ways shapes or forms.

I think the best relationships come from being friends first, or just taking the time to get to know one another on a personal level. If your going to be spending the rest of your life with a person, why not take the time to ask the important questions.
Date? People still go on those things? I thought we've evolved from those silly rituals and have embraced the idea of just wanting to mutually spend time in close proximity and exchange sentences and expression. I believe this might be referred to as hanging out, where there is general interest in getting to know one another and taking it from there... A Date is special, is planned, is custom made to meet the needs of your partner, to make this night not just a date on a calendaer, but a moment to be forever remembered.
