I am divorced with a 14 year old. I share custody with my ex.
I love music and have recently developed a taste but not inclusively for oldies - Sinatra, Martin, Luis Armstrong etc. With this development I have also been wanting to take some ballroom dance lessons.
I come from a large family and my parents were married until my mom died. From my parents I believe we received a bitter sweet up-bringing. I will explain. I had the best parents who sacrificed for me and my siblings. Rather than send us to public school, as we grew up in Queens, they somehow managed to send all of us to Catholic school knowing we would receive a better education. We did!
So I am like my parents dedicated to my daughter and all else who cross my path if so deserving. The if so deserving of coarse describes how I feel about people who look for free rides.
While I am serious about certain things I have also inherited my parents ability to goof around, particularly my moms teasing. Not hurtful teasing though. The kind an old married couple in love will partake in, enjoying the closeness of each other.
I would like to meet a woman who would appreciate the values of hard work, commitment, loyalty, respect and laughter.

I,like you, want to meet and then go from there. I could write a narrative of romantic interludes, adventure and suspense but that is why books are better than movies because as we read our mind creates the perfect picture.
