Hello, my name is April and since this is my profile I am not going to hold anything back...be prepared for some length haha...oh and GO WHITE SOX!! :D

I am a VERY family oriented girl who loves to spend as much time with my family as possible. My close friends would also fit into this category since they are practically family in my eyes, so they are a huge part of my life as well. I am currently finishing my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education (finally!!) and it's been a long time coming! As of December I will officially be finished so I am very excited about that!

As far as some things I enjoy doing, I LOVE to read haha...it is not unsual to find me oblivious to the world with my nose in a book, it is just something a man in my life would have to deal with! :) I frequent bookstores A LOT, it's like a kid in a candy store ;) I also enjoy the simple things, renting movies and cuddling up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, taking a walk when its so beautiful outside that you feel guilty not doing it, writing poems whenever I am inspired, and spending time with my friends during a girls night out dancing till the sun comes up! :D

My goals in life are to finish school, start teaching in ideally a 2nd or 3rd grade classroom since those are my favorite grades, write a novel or two, make a positive change in the lives of animals because I love them so much and want to make thier world a better place any way that I can, and evenutually get married to the guy of my dreams and raise babies! :D I also want to travel and see the world, especially Italy and France...I have been wanting to go to those two places since I was young!

Okay, now the part you are probably waiting for, especially if you are a man sitting back saying "okay she sounds fantastic (thank you) but what is she looking for in a man? Do I stand a chance?" Haha... I'm kidding, but seriously,...

This is what I want in a man:

Someone who is 100% honest and loyal. He would never tell me a lie, even a small one and he is faithful to me and only me.

Someone kind and caring. He will be there for me through thick and thin and stay by my side no matter how tough life may get.

Someone who knows and accepts me for me....including my faults. He knows and loves me in a way that no one else ever can.

Someone who has goals and ambitions. He wants to make the best life he can for himself.

Someone funny who can make me laugh and bring a smile to my face, even if I have just had the worst day in the history of bad days! He will know the minute I walk through the door and be there waiting to cheer me up :)

Someone who is romantic. He will brush the hair away from my face, wisper in my ear and tell me sweet things, tell me I am beautiful even if I just woke up and my hair is everywhere, come up behind me and wrap me in his arms, listen when I talk and dry my tears when I cry, surprise me here and there with a romantic evening for just the two of us, and sometimes, maybe not all the time, but sometimes, I will wake up and catch him watching me sleep, just because he can't take his eyes off of me... :)

Someone who loves animals. I have a kitty named Sabrina who is part of my family and basically my child hehe, so we are a package deal :)

Someone who has similar interests as me, not all the same but some things in common are nice.

Oh and I love tall guys...partly because I am 5'9 and love high heels... :)

Hopefully this doesn't sound too picky, but all my life I have talked about a man who is sweet and all of the things I have mentioned above on the inside, but has that rugged appeal on the outside,...almost that bad boy exterior...maybe I read to many romance novels but I KNOW he is out there! :)

And last but most importantly, someone who will ultimatly love my family as much as I do, because they are everything to me and I want the man I end up with to be a part of that.

Maybe I am expecting to much in a man, but I refuse to give up hope that I will find someone who is everything that I am looking for and more... :)
