I have finally arrived at a place in life, where I am pretty content with who I am.
Everyone continues to evolve, and I will continue to change those things I do not like in myself, no one else.
Believe I am an honest, fair, intelligent, and mostly a stable person.
I believe relationships begin with chemistry, succeed through communication.
Think Love is encompassing, one's lover is more important than self. Self is not lost, for it is mostly cared for by one's lover, as you mostly care for them. To not NEED Love, is to have never known Love.

I am a Christian, solid as a rock, but do not attend any church, haven't found one I can take.
Support Mr. Obama. Like people. Put people first, not corporations.
Contemporary in my physical taste, especially houses.
Like art of nearly every media. I prefer mostly modern pieces. Have dabbled at painting and stone carving.
Like lively discussions that keep a civil tone.
I love to laugh.
Like music of nearly all genera, with the exception of extreme: metal, hip hop, rap.
Only drink alcohol on rare occasion.
Smoke a pipe and cigars, not in the house, not in the car, I go to a smoke shop or the screened porch for that, and use a lot of Altoids.
My hobby is acting, both stage and film, lots of plays, a few films.
I am 5'-11 3/4", 230lbs, a bit extra at the middle, want to reduce that. Find most exercise boring beyond tolerance, I have enjoyed swimming, golf, and handball. Thinking of getting a gym membership where I can watch CNN while using some kind of machine.
I do not like sports except to watch with friends for the camaraderie. Played basketball as a kid, but not since.
Like the water, contemplated a boat, but don't want one without a significant other to captian some.
Like movies and the discussions that can follow, or a play, or concert.
I do not hunt, stopped fishing years ago, although I might like to pick up fly fishing again. But hate to clean the slimy things so probably won't, unless you do. Get my food from the grocery store these days.
Like local history, and going to see where it was made.
I have several goals and plans, mostly guy stuff, income, house, car, hobbies. But would like to modify some, to be for two, not just one. And be able to support that one in their goals. Every thing is more meaningful when it's two. Reach for the moon. I can be interested in just about anything when it's spiced with a true love.

Dates, well, that's something that includes love. Maybe just the first embers or maybe the sudden burst of full flame, then the limits do not exist as to what a date might be.
