I'd say that my sense of humor is one of my best qualities, but I certainly know when it's time to be serious. I'm open minded and I do enjoy learning about and trying new things. One of my core beliefs is that your word is who you are. If your word is worth nothing then you're worth nothing. Another one of my core beliefs is that you can't try to do something. You either do something or you don't. Music is an important part of my life, but it certainly doesn't run my life. I'm a mental health counselor at a psychiatric hospital. I'm planning on returning to school to get a master's degree and continue working with the mentally ill.

What do I look for in a woman? First and foremost is having a good sense of humor. Having a good sense of humor and not taking life so seriously is the key to be being happy, whether alone or in a relationship. I'd like to be with someone who is intelligent, independent and thinks outside of the box. I'd prefer to be with someone who shares at least some of my beliefs and interests, but if not then she must at least be accepting of them. When it comes to physical appearance, looks certainly are not the most important thing in a relationship (not to me anyway). However, it certainly helps if there's at least a small spark to ignite the fire.
