My hobbies include (as listed above) hiking,biking,golfing,traveling and reading. I am very much interested in politics and current events.I grew up in Germany and got my Canadian citizenship in 1962.
I am told I always look neat and well groomed,wether hiking the Bruce Trail or at the Friday night dance and I like to do both.If you ask me a question I will answer without hesitation and truthfully and I act and look many years younger than I am.The picture was taken in May 2009 on the trail.
I like almost all music except Rap or hip hop.
I am very much interested in a lasting relationship with a soul mate.

What happens on a first date depends on how well my date and I get along.At times it has been just coffee but on occassion the date has been extended into a long walk and lunch.
