First Date
Long walk at Rondeau Park, the scent of damp, musty, fallen, fiery leaves, exploding in Autumn splendour, arousing a wellspring of life within. Inhaling the frosty, piercing, liberating, all consuming, permeating and engulfing Lake Erie mist. Spirit soaring, soothing the soul. Grasping for the essence of the Life Force, choked and dwindling from the paralyzed land. (T.S. Eliot may have been on to something.) We will not surrender!!!
