Hello there, and welcome to my profile! Since I am being forced to talk about myself, I will indulge just a little. ;-)

I am a self-reliant, financially secure mother of three great, grown children; own two businesses that occupy my time; and understand the importance of balance in my life (although it's a work in progress). I am an optimist, love a challenge, like watching football, traveling, playing, laughing, and loving.

Although I travel a lot in my business, I make time for friends and family, since it is those relationships, after all, that matter most. I thrive on good conversation, engaging debate, and good humor; and I try not to take myself too seriously. I am passionate and sensual, love to give massages and receive them too.

I'm looking for a man to share my life and dreams with, someone who is self-reliant and yet a team player, who is intelligently irreverent, and willing to take a chance.

I love to cook, sing, draw, walk, travel, and spend time with family. I like most kinds of music from the 40s, mostly the 70s, 80s and 90s. I love piano and guitar music (though I don't play either). I enjoy reading a good book, believe in maintaining my health through good diet and exercise, and understand there are forces that ultimately bind us all together.

On a first date . . . hmmm. A lot depends on the chemistry, but a first meeting might be in a public restaurant or bar; the second perhaps theater or a movie; the third a hike, car ride, walk somewhere to get to know each other. At any point, it could evolve faster or come to a halt . . . it all depends . . .
