I am a "good guy" who works hard and was married for over 30 years. My wife passed away (quite unexpected) earlier this year and I find myself coming home to an empty house kind of depressing. I have not "dated" in 3 decades and I have forgotten how to do so. I am looking for someone who would like to meet at a public place for casual conversation and see if we have common interests. I am a bit lonely but I do NOT want to jump into a serious relationship immediately. I have 2 sons (in their 30's) who live locally and I have a great relationship with both of them. I am what you would call a "normal" guy who is honest and goes to work everyday. I'm looking for a "normal" woman who lives in/around Oak Hills/Hesperia area and goes to work everyday too. I have to travel all week for my job so I would prefer to meet women that are somewhat close in proximity to my home.

I would just like to meet at a Starbucks or some other public place for a drink. I am a project manager for a construction firm but I am NOT the "managerial/office" type....I have been in the construction business all of my life and I guess a 1st date would be a friendly/easygoing place where dressing up is NOT necessary. I'll probably be in jeans and you probably will be in something casual too.
