I'm an active female, looking for a male with similar interests to spend time with and who knows, maybe develop into a lasting relationship or worst case a friendship...how bad can that be? I'm definitely not on a mission to find 'the one' by a certain time frame, but not avoiding it either! I love golf and skiing, but do have other interests as well. I've completed one olympic distance triathlon in Kona, HI last spring and a sprint distance triathlon this past July. Also participated in a Century bike ride in the Sierra's. If you have these interests too that would be great, if not, not a problem. They're not everyone's cup of tea;-) I'm hoping you at least like golf and/or skiing since both do take a large amount of time, it's good to have a mate who enjoys these activities. I love going to live concerts and have a pretty broad range of music likes: country rock, Motown sounds, 80's, 90's and of course some of the classic crooners like Tony Bennett. Did you say baseball? I'm a Dodgers Fan, but do appreciate the Angels as well, especially since they're managed by a former Dodger;-) Having said all this, it would sure be nice to have someone to spend quiet time with too, in the evenings after we're done golfing or skiing;-) Travel? Love it, just don't seem to have enough time to do more of it or anyone to travel with. Favorite places, well, Hawaii is high on the list. Was fortunate to have gone twice this past year and already thinking about 2010! Temperment, well, I'm pretty casual and easy going. Definitely not a drama queen, hope you're not either! After a few losses of some close friends, I know life is too short, so I try to make the best and most of each day. Am I perfect? Definitely not, but I am always trying to improve myself and reach new goals! About you, well, looking for someone with character, good old fashioned values, integrity, a sense of humor is a must and an appreciation for life.

Well, if by first date they mean, after a get to meet you get together of drinks/appetizers (to see if we're even remotely compatible), then to be honest, I'd prefer we did something fun like a bike ride, kayak in Newport Bay or maybe a full or half round of golf.
