I am healthy, intelligent, and compassionate, person with a very good sense of humour. I am quite a bit of fun really. I am active every day, playing golf in the summer, hockey in the winter. I also ski, canoe, camp and play other sports when the opportunity arises. I like listening to and making music. I play and also make acoustic guitars as a hobby. I prefer roots and folk music, but also tap my toes to the top 40 trash from almost any era. Not much into the bars, unless there is a good band onstage, and if that is the case it's not hard to get me to get up and dance a bit. I can find something enjoyable in just about any activity.

I have three children, all off now on their own life adventures, for now at least... They seem amazing to me.

I teach in a special education setting, serving kids with challenging (and often very interesting) behavioural needs. Gotta live it to understand it, but it's a great job!

As for you,...

Being cheerful, optimistic, somewhat adventurous, reasonably fit and active, and having an interest in being competent and adventurous in your work and recreational pursuits would be what I would find compellng and attractive... I don't mind if you are funny too... I like to laugh very much. If you make me laugh I will return the favour many times over.

This should be much simpler than it appears. I am giving this a good try. However, no profile not yours and not mine could possibly say as much as 10 minutes of real face to face dialogue. If you are looking for a miracle, gaze into the mirror for a second or two. We are all miraculous beings, and here but an instant. And we are waiting for....?

Whether it be simply a meet and greet for coffee or a drink, or something active, if there is an interest in meeting we can surely figure this out! If there is a connection to be made, what we are doing will hardly matter at all...
