For my headline I wanted to say, "Fast, Forward, Forever." It had a nice ring but I wasn't sure what I meant. So i went with something to convey I am basically a guy who is happy on his own but open to meeting the right woman who is generous enough to share her time. When I'm not working, doing the crazy commute between Toronto and Barrie, I like to teach martial arts to a bunch of psychopathic kids, find time to workout on my own, spend time with friends, go to the cottage in summer and ski in winter. I love to read, mostly fiction.

Best of all is spending time with my two kids, who at ages 12 and 16, already know more than me and aren't afraid to tell me so.

I have travelled widely, but favourite place is Japan. I've been there about eight times. I keep on trying to teach myself Japanese but get so far, get busy or distracted, then have to start again. I tell myself that I am made a better person just by trying, but would finally like to get beyond the Grade 1 level someday.

Uh, what else can I tell you?

A walk by a local swamp (trust me, it looks better than it sounds). Coffee at some place better than Timmy's. A drink at a friendly pub. I'm open. You tell me . . .
