| | I have a full life with family and friends but am looking for a special person to share it all with. I'm an animal lover, (I have 2 German shepherds, yes they are inside and outside dogs) and love to do a variety of things. I'm getting back into working out and getting healthy again. I did a marathon in Jamaica in '01 but have let work and life get in the way since then, but it's never too late.
I enjoy movies, reading, the Fox, wineries, music – especially live music, entertaining friends and family, cooking together, or just spending time at home hanging out (and yep I’ve fallen into the trap of some reality tv, but DVR is my friend!). I'm looking for someone who enjoys some of the same activities as well as new ones I haven't tried yet. In the past I’ve gone skydiving and white water rafting and they were a blast. I doubt if I’d do either again because my adventures are a bit calmer now,,, I love trying new things. :)
The guy I'm interested in should have a good sense of humor, laughter is a great thing... be dependable, can carry on a conversation, be honest, friendly, smile! (That’s key!!) and love family, animals and be romantic and affectionate. :) I’m not a damsel in distress but I do like to be treated like a lady, hold the door open, walk me to my door, etc. BUT in return, I treat my guy as someone special; you never know what I might do. I pay close attention to those in my life so I know what they like and don’t like… I'm kind of shy at first, but warm up quickly if I feel comfortable, just an FYI if we meet. :)
Ultimately I am looking for a long-term serious relationship but do like to take things slow... The website doesn't let you choose multiple "I am looking for..." options,,, so I am looking for Dating, Friends, Activity Partner, and ultimately long-term... :) but making new friends in the process is one of the big perks... :)! I'm not looking for an "intimate encounter" or if you are married or in a relationship, I'm not interested in poaching someone else's guy... Ideally, it would be great to meet once we establish that we're interested in each other to see if there's chemistry, even a small amount; because let's face it,,, there has to be some on both sides or one of us will be disappointed... So, an hour for coffee, tea, or a drink would be a good start or even some type of casual activity where we can talk... Most important is being relaxed and with no expectations other than possibly making a new friend,,, then we can go from there :):) |
