My escape place is in a little woodworking shop I have collected. I also paint garden and patio figures with acrylics. I love to yard sale and find treasures that I can repair and paint. I'm a much better woodworker than painter. I love Ikea furniture from which I can scavenge the wood to make garden furniture, bird houses and such.

I'm a decent cook and love to prepare for/and entertain.
I'm a 3x grandpa with 3 more that have adopted me, I love .em all. Preferably not all at once. My two daughters watch over me, keeping me mostly out of trouble and my two daughters, who have adopted me, seem to be there as needed !

I'm an easy listening music fan, who still gets a tear when certain 50's and 60's tunes are played. AM 740 and Fm 101.3

I have a good repore with most people. Must admit, I don't suffer fools very well. I love a free ranging dialogue and can usually back up my thesis. ( And I'm a terrible speller)

I have a Manufacturing Management background rising to the position of Plant Manager. For the last 25 years I was a self-employed businessman, doing consulting in the concrete restoration and waterproofing fields.

I love to fish for Rainbow Trout. and take my Grandson fishing for anything we can catch.

I'm a touchy-feely guy who's looking for a mate to cuddle, to hold and make love to. I believe relationships are a give and take union, very much based on mutual respect and love. I believe that a relationship must be a 50/50 partnership. And yes ,there are days when you give, and some, you receive. I very much want a Mate who can/wants to hold an intelligent conversation ! I strive to be easy going, have good conversations and be a good host.
I have a strong set of personal codes that I live by and I take my VOWS very seriously. I'm a people person, I can join a conversation make my point and escape before the Knives come out, HA HA.
I'm an organizer. I like to assist with events such as dinners, in fact have run a Christmas dinner for 2 years for 100 people. (Nobody died.... Ha)

First dates are, to me, an opportunity to get aquainted, so having a "coffee" would not be my choice. Lunch is better or attending some local function where some personal interaction is possible would be preferable to me.
