About me:
I am pretty laid back and easy going. Life is too short to take everything so seriously. So having a sense of humor is important and if a bit offbeat even better. Not to say I dont know when to be serious, I just believe in choosing your battles. I realize that it is no ones responsibility to make me happy but mine. Life is full of choices and what we choose will determine the quality of life we make for ourselves. I have three requirements I wont compromise on for any relationship I go into and that is there MUST be Trust, Honesty, and Communication for a relationship to thrive. I dont play mind games and if you do.. keep on going, I wont play. I will always be honest and think that it is important to be able to talk about anything and everything. I dont believe in walking on eggshells, I pretty much say what is on my mind. I am not agressive but I do consider myself assertive, there is a difference.

I have alot of things I am interested in and I am pretty open minded to trying new experiences. I have to admit, I prefer coast to mountains.. I love the water. I also enjoy fishing but havent done it in years. I am a people watcher so fairs and festivals are a great venue for that. I am a child of the 60's and a teen of the 70's so classic rock and classic cars are a biggie for me, I enjoy going to car shows and I also enjoy going to the races.. the smaller track venues have been alot of fun over the years but would one day like to go watch the big boys race.
My music of choice go from classic rock to current rock, Rhythm and Blues, Sometimes just soft instrumentals in the back ground. I am not into hip hop or rap.. It all depends on my mood and what I am doing at the time that will determine what I want to listen to at that time. I dont watch alot of TV but like movies.. Horror is my fav but not all that I watch. I enjoy playing pool, I am not great at it but I am not half bad either. I have alot of other intersts but if you would like to know what they are then you will just have to contact me to find out.

I do have one bad habit, I am an occasional smoker, but these days that is socially unacceptable and Im trying to quit.

Hmmm.. what I am looking for in a man.. Well maybe it would be easier to first mention what I am NOT looking for. I am not into the bar scene, an occasional drink no biggie, but if you are a drinker then you arent for me. I am not looking for someone to take care of me or looking for someone that "Needs" taking care of. I am looking for a man that is strong in character but with a gentle soul. Not aggressive but rather assertive. I am looking for a partner that is as interested in getting to know who I am as much as I am interested in getting to know who he is. Someone that is willing and interested in talking about anything that may come up and doesnt expect me to carry the conversation and entertain them. I want a participant, a partner. I want to be a priority in their lives, not an option. I am looking for someone to spoil that would also want to spoil me. I am not talking monetarily or materially, I have simple tastes. I dont need the world handed to me on a silver platter, it is the little things in life that are the most important, that mean the most to me.
I am a touchy feely kind of person, very affectionate with those I care about and I am hoping to find someone that is that way as well. Someone that likes to touch and be touched. He must be a good kisser because I require alot of kisses to keep me happy.

Does anyone on here really contact each other? I see lot of people that will look at a profile over and over again, so obviously something about that person has caught their eye.. but they never go that extra mile.. take that next step in saying hello. What have you got to lose, arent we all on here looking for something.. looking for someone or is it more of a window shopping venture? The perfect person isnt just going to fall into our laps.. if we want it to happen then it is up to us to take the risk, what is the worst that can happen? Rejection? Oh well if we get rejected then that person wasnt the right person to begin with.. but on the other hand.. you never know, if you make the effort, that person we are looking for might just be right around the corner.. wont know till we try. :)

A first date to me isnt really a date but an opportunity to meet and see if there is any sort of connection there. If so then you could plan the first date together. I know it is cliche, but meeting for coffee or somewhere you could walk and talk would be best. No pressure, just a meet and greet and from there let nature take its course. I prefer spontaneous to planned in the beginning anyway.
